Her First Cold
Here you see the sweater that lovely Laura knitted for my darling. The sweater still fits a little loose, but rocks none the less. Her nose shines red and eyes appear glossy due to her first cold, replete with snotty sneezes and frequent night wakings.
and after that we can cut off the sleeves and it'll be a vest. truly though, that sweater means a lot to me and delivers joy upon sight and touch, your energy and generosity shine through the knit knots.
Born & raised in northern California, with a few summers in NY. Spent my teenage years in West Sonoma County where the rocks, trees, and creeks became me. Lived in SF and the East Bay ever since. Do not believe in "too much fun".

don't worry, when it is too big for her to squeeze into, i'll just put it in her keepsake box...
